Goji Berry Health Benefits – As People See Them!
Monday, November 5th, 2007I must admit that initially I thought the Goji berry was just another fad food that comes in fashion one minute and is gone the next. There has been so much hype about this berry and so much animosity between distributors that one is left rather confused. Even more so when they claim that their berry is the only original Tibetan Goji berry. This is simply not possible.
In my case, after hearing and reading about them, I thought I would track some down and see for myself if they made any difference to the way I was feeling. I knew for a fact that people were having amazing results from taking the juice. I had a man tell me one morning at a local market that he had a brain tumour which was finally shrinking after him taking the Goji juice every day over a four month period. He swears that it is the Goji that is responsible for this improvement.
I have since found out that there is much documented evidence as to other amazing stories of so called health miracles all because of the Goji berry. It is always good to keep an open mind though when dealing with these kinds of things. Some people do have extraordinary results, but often people with similar problems are quite disheartened by lack of improvement.
My personal feeling is that the Goji berry is definitely a fantastic food with high anti-oxidant properties and is a great addition to anyone’s diet, but it still needs to be eaten in conjunction with a whole foods healthy diet. Even with natural medicine, people are still looking for a quick fix, and there is no such thing. As great as the Goji berry is, it is a big ask for it to work miracles on its own.
